Does my PDF leave my device?
No. Pagecut reads and processes your PDF in your browser. It does not upload documents, collect filenames, or use third-party analytics or advertising scripts. The host receives ordinary requests for the website’s files.
How do I write page ranges?
Write 1-5 for pages 1 through 5, or 1,3,7 to combine individual pages. Separate new files with a semicolon: 1-5; 6-10. These are positions in the PDF, which may differ from printed page numbers.
Will the quality change?
Pages are copied without deliberately compressing images or turning text into pictures. This is a page extraction tool; digital signatures, document bookmarks, and interactive forms may not carry over correctly. Keep the original for those features.
Are there any limits?
This version supports PDFs up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages, with up to 250 output files at a time. Large scans may exceed your device’s available memory. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
Can I use it offline?
Processing does not need an internet connection after the tool and its preview components have loaded. Opening or reloading the site still needs a connection.
